İmamoğlu reacts to Yılmaz Tunç: 'Because of a nonsensical lawsuit...'
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu responded to criticisms from Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, who suggested that he should focus on Istanbul's problems. İmamoğlu stated to Tunç, "He is expressing his outcry regarding a political ban due to a nonsensical lawsuit."
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu answered questions from journalists at the opening of the City Restaurant (Kent Lokantası) held in the Yavuztürk neighborhood of Üsküdar Municipality. İmamoğlu responded sharply to the criticisms directed at him by Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç.
'BECAUSE OF A NONSENSICAL LAWSUIT...'
Evaluating the words of Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, who said to İmamoğlu, "It is an absurdity; instead of picking fights here and there, this friend should deal with the problems of Istanbul," İmamoğlu said, "Can you imagine, the person he says should deal with the problems of Istanbul is expressing his outcry regarding a political ban due to a nonsensical lawsuit. He doesn't even understand this."
İMAMOĞLU REACTS TO TUNÇ
Continuing his criticism of Tunç, İmamoğlu stated that the Minister of Justice is far from understanding his own situation. İmamoğlu expressed that Tunç's rhetoric amounts to avoiding the real problems of Istanbul.
