CHP presidential candidate and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu has released a striking video message from the Silivri Marmara Prison, where he is being held.
The message from İmamoğlu, who has been detained since March 23, was shared through the official channels of his Presidential Campaign Office because his personal social media account is blocked in Turkey.
“CONTINUING TO WORK BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE”
In the video, İmamoğlu stated the following:
“Your detentions and prisons mean nothing to us, nothing. Whether we are inside or outside, we will work harder and produce more. We will not let anyone crush the will of the people. We will never give up our struggle for Turkey.”
Your detentions and prisons mean nothing to us, nothing. Whether inside or outside, we will work harder and produce more.
