Imamoglu's 'we are breaking records' post: 'Try to block services as much as you want...'
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu, who is currently detained at Silivri Prison, stated in a post, "Try to block services as much as you want; all my colleagues inside and outside are overcoming your obstacles one by one. Building a metro under these conditions is a world record."
Detained Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu shared a striking message regarding metro projects.
The post was made on behalf of Imamoglu by his lawyers via the "Presidential Candidate Office" X account.
Stating, "Try to block services as much as you want; all my colleagues inside and outside are overcoming your obstacles one by one," Imamoglu emphasized that metro construction continues, adding, "Building a metro under these conditions is a world record."

Imamoglu noted the following:
"We are breaking a metro construction record even from prison. Try to block services as much as you want; all my colleagues inside and outside are overcoming your obstacles one by one. Building a metro under these conditions is a world record. I extend my heartfelt thanks to all my colleagues, from our deputy secretary general responsible for Rail Systems who is weaving Istanbul with metro networks to our department heads, engineers, and the laborers working underground, for their integrity, courage, commitment to the nation, and determination to work."
