İmamoğlu's criticism of Kurum: 'If the one in Ankara says hush, they all hush'

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu made statements at a rally held in Şile.

"IF THE ONE IN ANKARA SAYS WALK, THEY WALK"

In his statement, referring to the AKP's Istanbul candidate Murat Kurum, İmamoğlu said, "Respect for people, care for the city, care for nature, care for the land... Do you know what their understanding is? If the one in Ankara says hush, they all hush. If the one in Ankara says speak, they all speak; if he says walk, they walk; if he says take 8 steps, they take 8 steps, they don't take 9."

"THE VOTE MARGIN WILL GROW"

Criticizing the ministers' involvement in election campaigns and also touching upon the Istanbul rally of President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, İmamoğlu said the following:

"They can come from Ankara with not 17, but 27 ministers if they want. And that's not enough, there's the candidate. And that's still not enough, there's the President, who should be the president of everyone who was elected. He is welcome. What will we do? We will show great hospitality. When? On March 31. How? The vote margin will grow, the vote margin will grow."

"THE PEOPLE'S ALLIANCE WILL WIN"

Addressing the crowd by asking, "Do you remember your hospitality on June 23?", İmamoğlu said, "That won't be enough for them this time. They want more. The nation will win, the nation. The people's alliance will win in Istanbul."
