IMM responds to claims that 'ferry cafes will close'

IMM responds to claims that 'ferry cafes will close'

The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) responded with a written statement to claims that the Vapur Kafe services offered on City Lines ferries would be discontinued.

In the statement issued by the municipality, it was emphasized that the cafe services provided on the ferries are continuing exactly as they are, and it was stated that there is no change in the service approach that passengers are accustomed to. The statement said, "Cafe services offered on City Lines ferries, primarily tea, simit, and toast, continue within their current scope. There is no change in the ferry travel experience and service approach that our passengers are accustomed to."

The following statements were included in the IMM's written announcement:

"In recent days, there have been claims in the public domain that the Vapur Kafe services offered on City Lines ferries will be discontinued. Cafe services offered on City Lines ferries, primarily tea, simit, and toast, continue within their current scope. There is no change in the ferry travel experience and service approach that our passengers are accustomed to. Our priority is to provide our passengers with safe, comfortable, and uninterrupted service and to continue this deep-rooted travel tradition unique to Istanbul's maritime transport together with you."
