In the Aydoğdu neighborhood of Denizli's Tavas district, K. Pekdemir (28), who is alleged to be a substance addict, stabbed his father Süleyman Pekdemir (60) and his brother Muhammet Pekdemir (35) following an argument at home. The attacker set the house on fire and fled the scene. Both his father and brother lost their lives. 

Following the fire report, gendarmerie, fire department, and medical teams were dispatched to the area. The teams responding to the fire found the lifeless bodies of the father and son in the house, which sustained heavy damage.

GAVE CONTRADICTORY STATEMENTS

Security camera footage revealed an individual fleeing the scene on a motorcycle after the incident. Gendarmerie teams launched an operation to apprehend K. Pekdemir. The suspect, K. Pekdemir, was captured by police teams in the town center. It was stated that during his interrogation at the gendarmerie, K. Pekdemir gave contradictory statements, initially saying, "I killed them with a knife," and later claiming, "I shot them with a rifle."

HE WAS DEMANDING MONEY FROM HIS FATHER FOR DRUGS

It was learned that Süleyman Pekdemir and his son Muhammet Pekdemir lived together. It was reported that Süleyman Pekdemir had divorced his wife some time ago and that she resided in the city center with another son. The suspect, K. Pekdemir, was known to live alone in the town center. It is alleged that K. Pekdemir, who is a substance addict, frequently demanded money from his father to buy drugs, and that the two often argued for this reason.
