Indictment against Ayhan Bora Kaplan criminal organization accepted
The indictment prepared against the "Ayhan Bora Kaplan" criminal organization has been accepted by the Ankara 32nd High Criminal Court.
The indictment prepared by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against 61 suspects, 28 of whom are under arrest, regarding the Ayhan Bora Kaplan criminal organization, has been accepted by the Ankara 32nd High Criminal Court.
Bora Kaplan and the other leaders of the organization were held responsible for all crimes committed by the criminal organization.
In the indictment, for Ayhan Bora Kaplan and other organization leaders Yusuf İzzet Savaş, Fethi Koyuncu, Mutlu Ayaş, Kanber Keskin, and Serdar Sertçelik, it was requested that they be sentenced to two life sentences each, one of which is aggravated, and up to 169 years and 6 months in prison for the crimes of 'establishing and managing an armed organization for the purpose of committing crimes', 'intentional killing', 'qualified intentional killing', 'intentional injury' against 7 people, 'deprivation of liberty' against 2 people, 'qualified robbery' against 2 people, 'torture', 'destroying, concealing or altering criminal evidence', 'assuming criminal responsibility', and 'aiding and abetting a criminal' twice.
While prison sentences of varying lengths were requested for the other 55 defendants, the prepared indictment was accepted by the Ankara 32nd High Criminal Court.
