In the Osmangazi district of Bursa, 3 individuals posed as police officers and scammed a victim out of 600,000 TL worth of valuables by using the lie, 'your identity has been used to defraud 17 people, and we will save you from these accusations.'
600,000 TL SCAM
A citizen handed over valuables to the scammers in person, totaling 600,000 TL in value, including 750 Euros, 1,100 Bulgarian levs, 39 Republic gold coins, 2 small gold coins, 1 pair of earrings, 1 gram of gold, and 1 bracelet. The incident was discovered by the victim's son, leading to a complaint being filed with judicial authorities.
The police launched an investigation into the incident and apprehended the suspects. The items embezzled by the 2 suspects were seized and placed into custody.
