Inspectors sent to Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality following Ankara
While reports of a prosecutor's investigation into Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) concerts are being debated, it has emerged that the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) is also being subjected to a similar inspection.
It has been reported that the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the concerts organized by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality.
The prosecutor's office also decided to send the incoming complaint petitions to the Ministry of Interior for detailed examination.
Upon the request of the prosecutor's office, the Ministry of Interior Inspection Board will examine the allegations regarding the ABB concerts through inspectors and prepare a report. The process will be shaped in line with the prosecutor's investigation and the report.
IBB IS ALSO UNDER INSPECTION
In a statement regarding the matter, Mansur Yavaş had announced that inspectors had been working for two days. According to the report on tv100, the inspection in question has also been initiated for the IBB.
In a statement made by IBB sources, it emerged that the inspectors arrived two days ago and requested all documents dating back to 2021.
Unlike in Ankara, no prosecutor's investigation has been launched into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.
The inspectors sent to both municipalities are continuing their work.
