Interior Minister Yerlikaya congratulates police officer who pushed broken-down vehicle

On Friday, February 14, police officer Ebubekir Sıddık Doğru, who was on duty in the area, noticed a vehicle had broken down on the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and began pushing it. The officer's dedication in pushing the broken-down vehicle to the bridge exit to prevent traffic flow disruption and ensure traffic safety drew applause.

Following the footage, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya published a congratulatory message for the police officer on his social media account.

In his congratulatory message, Yerlikaya stated the following:

"On Friday, February 14, our motorcycle police officer Ebubekir Sıddık Doğru, who noticed a vehicle that had broken down on the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, displayed a humanistic attitude that moved us all. He pushed the broken-down vehicle to the bridge exit to prevent traffic flow disruption and ensure traffic safety. I congratulate my police brother Ebubekir for this selfless behavior. Our police are always at the service of our nation. I thank our security forces who work selflessly day and night, summer and winter. May God protect you from all harm."
