The Israeli Foreign Intelligence Service, Mossad, aimed to carry out reconnaissance, surveillance, assault, and kidnapping operations against foreign nationals residing in Turkey. A large-scale operation was launched by the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) and the Istanbul Police Department Intelligence Branch, and 34 of the 46 suspects involved in the spy network were detained in a series of operations centered in Istanbul and spanning 9 provinces.

INTERROGATION OF SUSPECTS HAS BEGUN

The interrogation of the espionage suspects, whose activities are being evaluated as potentially falling under the scope of international espionage, began today at the Counter-Terrorism Branch. It is expected that the statement-taking process, which reportedly began around 17:30, will take a long time.

While the interrogation of the detained suspects at the police station continues, digital materials belonging to the suspects have been handed over to the relevant units for examination. As the digital materials are decrypted, new details regarding the shadow wars are expected to emerge.
