Iran's message on Israel ahead of US talks! 'The Zionist regime...'

Delegations from Iran and the US are meeting in Switzerland today with Pakistan acting as a mediator. The peace negotiations, which began today, are being attended by US Vice President James David Vance, US President Donald Trump's Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff, and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, while the Iranian delegation includes high-level figures such as Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Deputy Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Bagheri, and Central Bank Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei, in his statement regarding the topics to be addressed in the negotiations, said, "The Zionist regime continues to violate its commitments in Lebanon; this issue will be the main topic of today's talks. Discussions regarding making Iran's frozen or restricted assets available for use, as well as the issuance of necessary licenses for the sale of Iranian oil, will also be on the agenda."

Stating that the US and Iranian delegations will meet in the afternoon, Baghaei said, "We will hold a one-day meeting. In the morning, we will hold bilateral meetings with the delegations of Pakistan and Qatar, who are mediators in this process. In the afternoon, quadrilateral talks will be held between the Iranian and US delegations, with the participation of representatives from Qatar and Pakistan."
