Cem Küçük, a columnist for Türkiye Gazetesi known for his proximity to the government, spoke with Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç regarding the execution law.

Sharing the details of the meeting during a live broadcast, Küçük stated that Minister Tunç said, "There is work being done on an execution regulation. However, there is no such thing as an amnesty or a general amnesty for Öcalan."

Küçük noted the following during the live broadcast:

"My own lawyers also have clients; there was going to be a development regarding the execution regulation. It was asked, 'Has it been cancelled?' Our Minister called me during the commercial break. There is work on an execution regulation, but this is not something like a general amnesty. There is no such thing as an amnesty for Öcalan or a general amnesty. He said there was a package called judicial reform, and that there would be some regulations within that package. Weekend execution, weekday execution... He said AK Party and MHP deputies will discuss these. It is being discussed. It is being evaluated. It will definitely come out, but its time and duration are not certain."
