The announcement from Yıldız Technical University is as follows:
"According to data from the General Directorate of Meteorology, heavy snowfall and icing are expected across Istanbul.
Considering the safety of our students, it has been decided that education will continue online on February 20-21, 2025.
Furthermore, in line with the decision of the Istanbul Governorship, disabled employees working in public institutions, female employees with children under the age of 8, and pregnant personnel will be considered on administrative leave."
