ISIS operation in 57 provinces: 536 suspects apprehended!

536 suspects were apprehended in the "GÜRZ-34" operations conducted against ISIS in 57 provinces. The news was announced by Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya. 

Making statements on his social media account, Minister Yerlikaya reported that the operations lasted for a total of 12 days. 

Yerlikaya shared the following:

"536 suspected members of the DAESH terrorist organization were apprehended in the 'GÜRZ-34' operations that have been ongoing for the last 12 days in 57 provinces.

As a result of the work carried out by the Provincial Security Directorates' Counter-Terrorism Branches, in coordination with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices, the National Intelligence Organization (MİT), the General Directorate of Security's Counter-Terrorism Department, and the Intelligence Department; the suspects apprehended in the operations conducted against the DAESH terrorist organization in Adana, Adıyaman, Afyonkarahisar, Ağrı, Amasya, Ankara, Antalya, Aydın, Balıkesir, Batman, Bilecik, Bingöl, Bitlis, Bolu, Bursa, Çankırı, Çorum, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Düzce, Edirne, Elazığ, Eskişehir, Erzincan, Gaziantep, Hatay, Isparta, İstanbul, İzmir, Kahramanmaraş, Karabük, Kastamonu, Kayseri, Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Kilis, Kocaeli, Konya, Kütahya, Malatya, Manisa, Mardin, Mersin, Muğla, Nevşehir, Niğde, Ordu, Osmaniye, Rize, Sakarya, Samsun, Sivas, Şanlıurfa, Trabzon, Van, Yalova, and Yozgat were determined to have:

Been active within the organization,
Provided financing to the organization, and
Been in contact with conflict zones.
