İSKİ has shared the May 5 data regarding dam occupancy rates in Istanbul. According to the data, the occupancy rate of dams in Istanbul has reached 83.43 percent.
According to data from the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ), the average occupancy rate of dams in the megacity has reached 83.43 percent.
Last year, drought and precipitation levels below seasonal norms across the country had brought the dams supporting Istanbul to the point of drying up.
The heavy rainfall that has been effective in recent days in the megacity of Istanbul, which experienced a dry winter, has benefited the dams.
The occupancy rate in the dams has risen to 83.43 percent.
