Sözcü columnist İsmail Saymaz, in his article today, recalled that after the investigation into the couple Dilan Polat and Engin Polat, who have drawn attention with their statements and luxurious lifestyles, was transferred to the Istanbul Anatolian Courthouse, an investigation was being conducted into 17 suspects for “establishing a criminal organization, membership in a criminal organization, laundering assets derived from crime, and violating the Tax Procedure Law,” and drew attention to the confidentiality order issued regarding the investigation.
"Allegedly, 16 companies are under scrutiny,” said Saymaz, writing, “It is noted that there is 657 million TL of funds with unknown origin in just one company, and the total amount could reach 1.5-2 billion TL.”
Saymaz stated, “It is indicated that the shooting at the beauty center belonging to Banu Parlak could also be included in this scope. An operation against the Polats could be carried out in the coming days.”
