Israel bombs Palestinian camp: At least 40 dead

According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, Israeli warplanes bombed tents of displaced Palestinians living near an area where the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warehouses are located in the northwest of Rafah. At least 40 Palestinians lost their lives in the attack.

A statement from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society indicated that medical teams transported the bodies of many Palestinians, including women and children, as well as the wounded, to hospitals.

Eyewitnesses stated, "The Israeli army's bombardment caused many tents in the camp to collapse and catch fire. This camp is not located in the area that the Israeli army had ordered to be evacuated in the city of Rafah, where thousands of displaced Palestinians are living."

ATTACK CARRIED OUT WITH 8 ROCKETS

Witnesses stated that Israeli warplanes carried out the attack on the camp with at least 8 rockets.

A statement from the Ministry of Health in Gaza said, "As a result of the Israeli warplanes brutally bombing the camp where displaced Palestinians were staying in the northwest of Rafah, many Palestinians have lost their lives and were injured. Search and rescue efforts for the missing are ongoing."
