Israel continues to strike southern Lebanon despite ceasefire

While the ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Lebanon is in effect, new reports of bombardment from the region have raised tensions once again. The latest airstrikes carried out by the Israeli military against southern Lebanon have cast a shadow over the ceasefire. Lebanon's official agency, NNA, confirmed the activity on the ground by reporting that numerous airstrikes had been conducted on the southern parts of the country within the last 24 hours.

NEW EVACUATION WARNINGS ISSUED

In addition to military operations, pressure on the local population continues to mount. IDF Spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued urgent evacuation warnings for several towns in southern Lebanon. Adraee issued a stern warning that civilians remaining near Hezbollah facilities or conflict zones are "directly endangering their own lives."
