Israel requested, Palestinian investments frozen: Binance issues statement on the matter
Richard Teng, CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, has responded to recent allegations regarding the investments of Palestinians. In a statement on his X account, Teng said, "Only a limited number of user accounts linked to illicit funds have been restricted from transacting."
Reports on the social media platform X and in international media have featured documents allegedly belonging to the Israeli Ministry of Defense, which contain recommendations to seize crypto assets under the pretext of counter-terrorism in Hebrew.

Binance co-founder Yi He, in a post on her X account, commented, "As a global crypto exchange, we comply with internationally recognized anti-money laundering legislation, just like any other financial institution. We will continue to educate users on how to trade safely and securely on our platform."
Following the news circulating, Bitcoin (BTC) experienced a drop of nearly 8 percent. The value of BTC, which had reached 63 thousand dollars yesterday, fell to 58 thousand 200 dollars.
