Airstrike from Israel on Yemen!
The Houthis announced that Israeli warplanes targeted the city of Hodeidah in western Yemen. While the Israeli military claimed responsibility for the attacks, it was reported that the port and power plants, which the Houthis use to transport Iranian military equipment, were struck.
The Houthis in Yemen have announced that the Israeli military carried out an airstrike on Hodeidah.
According to reports from the Houthi-affiliated "Al-Masirah" television channel, Israeli warplanes targeted the city of Hodeidah in western Yemen.
Footage released by social media activists shows a large fire breaking out at the port of Hodeidah due to the Israeli attack.
ISRAELI MILITARY CLAIMS RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ATTACKS
Meanwhile, a statement from the Israeli military indicated that numerous warplanes targeted Houthi positions in Ras Issa and Hodeidah.
It was noted that Israeli warplanes struck the port of Hodeidah, used for oil trade, as well as power plants.
The statement, which described this as a "response" to the Houthis' attacks targeting Israel, alleged that the Houthis use the targeted port to transport Iranian military vehicles and equipment.
Israel-based Channel 12 television also stated that the Israeli military targeted oil tankers at the port of Hodeidah and published photos of the fire at the port.
A report in the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper emphasized that this attack was "broader and more comprehensive" than the one Israel carried out in July.
The Houthis had previously announced that they struck Ben Gurion Airport, southeast of Tel Aviv, with a ballistic missile while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was returning from the US.
A previous statement from the Israeli military had announced that a missile launched from Yemen toward the center of the country was intercepted and that sirens had sounded in Tel Aviv, noting that this caused panic among Israelis.
