Israeli officers on Gaza: 'We are still far from victory'

Israel's Channel 14 television published a letter written to Israeli Chief of General Staff Herzi Halevi by 100 reserve officers who have been serving for 200 days in the Israeli army's attacks on the Gaza Strip.

Rejecting statements by senior Israeli military officials that "victory in Gaza is near," the Israeli officers stated, "As those coming from the field, we know that the situation is still far from victory."

'THERE ARE MANY MEMBERS READY TO FIGHT'

Stating that Palestinian resistance groups in Gaza still possess a large number of "unmanned aerial vehicles, mortars, and a massive tunnel network," the Israeli officers noted that Palestinian groups have many members ready to fight.

While Israel's attacks on Gaza have been ongoing for 310 days, military officials continue to make statements claiming they are "close to victory."

AT LEAST 39 THOUSAND 790 PALESTINIANS KILLED

In Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, at least 39 thousand 790 Palestinians have been killed, including at least 16 thousand 314 children and 10 thousand 980 women, and 92 thousand 2 people have been injured.

While it is reported that there are still thousands of dead under the rubble, civilian infrastructure is also being destroyed by targeting hospitals and educational institutions where the public has taken shelter.
