The Israeli press has published a striking analysis regarding Turkey's influence in Syria. The assessment in The Times of Israel used the headline, "Israel will have to get used to Turkey's growing footprint in Syria."
The article points out that Syria needs the support of a strong country to emerge from chaos in the post-Bashar al-Assad era, noting that "Turkey wants to be involved in this."
"WE CAN DO NOTHING BUT INSIST ON RED LINES"
The analysis states that Israel's options against Turkey's increasing influence in Syria are limited. The comment, "With America supporting Erdoğan, there is very little Israel can do beyond insisting on its red lines," drew attention. These remarks highlight that Tel Aviv's effectiveness in the region is weakening in the face of Turkey.
RELATIONS AT A BREAKING POINT
It was recalled that Turkey-Israel relations reached a flashpoint following Israel's attacks on three airbases in Syria at the beginning of April. The article also included remarks from Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. Fidan had stated, "Turkey has no intention of fighting any country on Syrian soil."

TRUMP'S SUPPORT BENEFITED ANKARA
Lindenstrauss also stated that the support given to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan by then-US President Donald Trump significantly limited Israel's room for maneuver.
