Israeli state broadcaster KAN reports: A stronger air attack than in April is expected

In a report by the Israeli state broadcaster KAN, referring to the attack Iran carried out in April with hundreds of drones and missiles, it was stated: "Israel is preparing for a wider-scale Iranian attack than the night when drones were used last April."

The report noted that according to Israel's new assessments, despite the impression that Iran has retreated in the face of political pressure in recent days, Tehran has shown that it is determined to launch an attack. The report stated the following:

"The Iranians are planning to retaliate and attack on a larger scale than the night attack they carried out last April with drones targeting Israeli bases, including the Nevatim Airbase in the Negev Desert."

The report also quoted Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant as saying: "The enemy, Iran and Hezbollah, are threatening to harm us in a way they have not done in the past. We have great capabilities. I hope a war does not break out on other fronts."

WHAT HAPPENED?

Hamas Political Bureau Chief Haniyeh was assassinated in Tehran, the capital of Iran, on July 31.

Iran and Hamas stated that Israel was behind the attack, and Tehran noted that it would respond to the Tel Aviv administration.
