Istanbul dam occupancy rates: ISKI February 8 figures
Recent rainfall in Istanbul has pushed dam occupancy rates higher. The total occupancy rate in the megacity's dams has reached 72.91 percent.
Istanbul's dam water occupancy rates have increased following recent precipitation. Due to insufficient rainfall during the last winter season, citizens have been closely monitoring dam occupancy rates. The Pabuçdere Dam, which has the lowest occupancy rate, measured a water level of 44.67 percent. The highest occupancy rate was recorded at the Elmalı Dam at 91.71 percent. The total dam occupancy rate in the megacity was recorded at 72.91% on Thursday, February 8, 2024.
The occupancy rates of the dams, which were reported to have increased compared to the previous day, are as follows:

Darlık Dam: 88.01%
Elmalı Dam: 91.71%
Terkos Dam: 64.72%
Alibey Dam: 76.5%
Büyükçekmece Dam: 69.96%
Sazlıdere Dam: 51.28%
