Istanbul Governor Gül visits families of those who lost their lives in fire
29 of our citizens lost their lives in the fire tragedy that broke out at an entertainment center in Beşiktaş on April 2. Istanbul Governor Davut Gül paid condolence visits to the families of the citizens who passed away in the fire.
Governor Gül paid condolence visits to the family of Sinan Yılmaz, who resided in Küçükçekmece and lost his life in the fire; the families of Onur Aladağ, Mehmet Okumuş, Gökay Tevlek, Mahmut Emin Kaya, and Efe Demir, who resided in Sarıyer and lost their lives in the Beşiktaş fire; and the family of Özkan Baş, who resided in Beşiktaş.

During the visits, which were also attended by Başakşehir District Governor Uğur Turan and Beşiktaş District Governor Oğuzhan Bingöl, prayers were recited by district muftis for the citizens who lost their lives.

During the visits, Governor Gül expressed his condolences, stating that they stand with the families both materially and morally.
