Istanbul Governor's Office announces: No negative situation

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 occurred in the Mudanya district of Bursa at 10:42.

In a statement made by the Istanbul Governor's Office, it was noted that there was no loss of life or property, and it was stated that field scanning efforts by AFAD and our relevant units regarding the matter are continuing.

Istanbul Governor Davut Gül made the following statement regarding the earthquake on his personal social media account:

"The earthquake was also felt in our province. Thank God, there are no reports reaching us for now. Scanning efforts are continuing. Get well soon, may God protect our nation from all kinds of accidents and troubles..."

The following statements were included in the announcement made by the Governor's Office:

"According to initial assessments following the 5.1 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Mudanya district of Bursa at 10:42, there has been no loss of life or property in our province of Istanbul. Field scanning efforts by AFAD and our relevant units regarding the matter are continuing."
