Istanbul Governor's Office issues warning: 'Be careful'

The General Directorate of Meteorology has reported that temperatures are expected to rise above seasonal norms this week.

According to the statement made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, temperatures are expected to be 4 to 6 degrees above seasonal norms in the Marmara, Aegean, and Western Mediterranean regions, and 10 to 15 degrees above in the Eastern Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Black Sea, and Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions.

As air temperatures in Istanbul are expected to reach 24-26 degrees, the Istanbul Governor's Office issued a statement via its X account.

The statement from the Governor's Office is as follows:

"According to Meteorology;

Throughout the week, the weather in Istanbul is expected to rise 4 to 6 degrees above seasonal norms.

The highest temperature expected in our province in the coming days is estimated to be in the range of 24-26 °C.

Be careful and take precautions"
