Istanbul Governor's Office: School yards, sports halls, and mosques opened for public use
The Istanbul Governor's Office has announced that school yards, sports halls, and mosques have been opened for the use of citizens who do not wish to spend the night in their homes due to earthquake fear.
The following statement was made by the Istanbul Governor's Office:
"Our school yards, sports halls, and mosques have been opened for the use of our citizens who do not wish to spend the night in their homes due to earthquake fear.
On the other hand, the restrooms of our schools will also be kept open for the use of our citizens until further notice.
Kızılay and AFAD have mobilized all their resources to meet the basic needs of our citizens."
