Istanbul poll on AKP's desk revealed

AKP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Abdullah Özdemir made statements during a television program he attended.

Responding to questions from Hülya Hökenek on Habertürk, Özdemir targeted the CHP. Speaking about the ongoing operations and lawsuits concerning the CHP, Özdemir stated, "We see these lawsuits primarily as having many causes. When you have a headache, you can make it go away with a painkiller, but you have to look at the root cause. The root cause here is that there is a decay within the CHP. Since the founding of the CHP, there have been many chairmen and administrations. But the CHP institution had never been exposed to such decay before."

"AK PARTY HAS WIDENED THE GAP WITH CHP"

In the continuation of his speech, Özdemir said that they have had polls conducted for both Istanbul and the general elections.

Claiming that they have widened the gap with the CHP in Istanbul, Özdemir said the following:

"We have polls conducted regularly. Both for Istanbul and regarding the general elections. I can announce a more recent poll. The AK Party is continuing its upward trend. It has widened the gap with the CHP.

The AK Party is continuing its upward trend with 35.8 percent. It has widened the gap with the CHP. The CHP's vote share is 30.7 percent."

"THE CHP CANNOT HANDLE THIS JOB; THIS IS THE AK PARTY'S JOB"

Claiming that citizens are saying, "The CHP cannot handle this job; this is the AK Party's job," Özdemir stated, "Citizens have re-experienced the CHP's local governance. We currently see them saying intensely on social media and internet platforms that 'the CHP cannot handle this job; this is the AK Party's job.' In Beykoz, citizens experienced the CHP. A deputy mayor there switched to the AK Party because he was uncomfortable with the situation."
