İYİ Party's Ordu candidate alleges municipal documents were burned

With the election approaching, polls providing information on the results that will be reflected in the ballot boxes on the night of March 31 continue to be published.

While many polling companies are announcing their results for the local elections, it is observed that the İYİ Party is in a competitive position in Ordu.

Enver Yılmaz, the İYİ Party candidate for Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, who is in a fierce race with the AKP candidate, made a striking allegation on his social media account.

Sharing footage on his account of a large number of documents being transported in a vehicle belonging to the Ordu Municipality and then burned, Yılmaz made the following claim:

"Why this rush?

Are there irregular tender files of municipal companies among the documents you burned in a panic?

What are you hastily trying to save from the fire?

Why did you throw these documents into the fire?

Why did you choose to burn a truckload of documents and paper instead of sending them for recycling?

Or are there suspicious tenders and documents regarding rent you provided to certain groups inside these sacks?

What are you hiding from the public in these documents?

Are you afraid that your irregularities and corruption, which I have been voicing in the squares for days, will be exposed?

I invite all prosecutors to take action.

ORKENT A.Ş., a subsidiary of Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, must be investigated immediately.

Ordu does not deserve this corrupt order."
