Tunç included the following statements in his post on his X account:
"I wish God's mercy upon our citizens who lost their lives in the accident that occurred as a result of a passenger bus overturning on the Malatya-Kayseri Highway, in the Akçadağ Develi location, and I wish a speedy recovery to our injured citizens. A judicial investigation has been initiated by the Akçadağ Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the accident, and two Public Prosecutors have been assigned."
