Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç stated, “The Diyarbakır 8th High Criminal Court has rendered its decision in the case regarding the brutal murder of our innocent 8-year-old daughter, Narin. In this painful incident, uncovering the material truth and ensuring justice is served by holding those responsible accountable for the sentences they deserve has become a great expectation for our nation.”
Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç shared a post on his social media account regarding the Narin Güran murder case, which concluded today.
Minister Tunç stated, “The Diyarbakır 8th High Criminal Court has rendered its decision in the case regarding the brutal murder of our innocent 8-year-old daughter, Narin. In this painful incident, uncovering the material truth and ensuring justice is served by holding those responsible accountable for the sentences they deserve has become a great expectation for our nation.
It is important that the decision, rendered without delay in accordance with the principles of the rule of law and judicial independence, finds its place in the conscience of our nation,” he said.
Thanking all judicial personnel who worked during the investigation and prosecution process, Minister Tunç said, “I would like to thank everyone who acted sensitively for the realization of justice, both during the investigation phase and the prosecution process, as well as our judicial personnel.
Justice is the foundation of the state. The scales of justice will never falter. We will all continue to do our part, as a state and as a nation, to ensure that such pain is never experienced again. I once again pray for God's mercy upon our daughter Narin,” he added.
