Kartalkaya tragedy case moved to appellate court
The case file regarding the Grand Kartal Hotel fire in Bolu, which claimed 78 lives, has been sent to the 1st Criminal Chamber of the Sakarya Regional Court of Justice for appellate review.
The case file prepared for the Grand Kartal Hotel fire trial, heard by the Bolu 1st High Criminal Court and consisting of over 100 folders, has been transferred to the Sakarya Regional Court of Justice, which will conduct the review in its capacity as an appellate court.
In the case concerning the tragedy that claimed 78 lives and is closely followed by the public, the Sakarya Regional Court of Justice 1st Criminal Chamber is expected to reach a decision following its review.
It has been learned that the file will be sent to the Court of Cassation once the appellate process is completed.
