COURT CANCELED THE DECISION

According to a report by Hale Gönültaş from Artı Gerçek, the Ankara 8th Civil Court of Peace canceled the decision today that had granted guardianship of the girl to ISIS-affiliated individuals. The court sent a letter to the Ankara Bar Association requesting the appointment of a lawyer for the Yazidi girl.

LAWYER TO BE APPOINTED FOR GUARDIANSHIP

It was learned that the lawyer will be appointed within a few days. It was also learned that once the lawyer's guardianship is finalized, they will meet with the child in person. The lawyer appointed as guardian will be decisive in making decisions that are in the child's best interest.
