Kılıçdaroğlu's assessment of TFF's new president Hacıosmanoğlu

Kılıçdaroğlu made a harsh statement following Hacıosmanoğlu's election in the TFF presidential elections. Kılıçdaroğlu said, "Turkish football is too valuable to be left in the hands of mafia wannabes or those who look to the palace or the palace's son-in-law for direction."

The fact that the newly elected TFF president, İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, began his thank-you speech by thanking President Erdoğan and stated, "I have the honor of being friends with our esteemed President. Even if our esteemed President is in power today and falls from power tomorrow, he will always be by my side as my elder brother. If there were such an issue, he would say, 'İbrahim, what are you doing?' Let us give credit to our President. I express my gratitude to our sensible members who supported us in this matter because we removed those who used him and put him in difficult situations from the football family," also brought reactions with it.

One of the names who reacted to Hacıosmanoğlu's statement was Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. In a post on his X account, Kılıçdaroğlu used the phrase, 'The shadow of the palace has not been lifted from Turkish football.'

Kılıçdaroğlu used the following expressions in his post:

'The shadow of the palace has not been lifted from Turkish football!

Dear friends, do not think that this election, in which candidates who are not under the control of a single man, who would contribute to our football, and who would carry out a fair presidency without being tied to anywhere, were removed through pressure and blackmail, is a change…

Turkish football is too valuable to be left in the hands of mafia wannabes or those who look to the palace or the palace's son-in-law for direction.

What comes is the same as what goes!

Our struggle will continue until this oligarchic structure that leaves society without options is dismantled.

We are going through difficult times where wolves are disguised in sheep's clothing…'
