Kılıçdaroğlu did not attend, Özel explained the reason: '100th anniversary reception'

Özel attended the Türkiye İş Bankası 100th Anniversary Reception.

The reception, held at Tersane Istanbul, was closed to the press.

Numerous guests from the business, art, and social spheres attended the reception.

Speaking as he left the reception, Özel stated that İş Bankası, which was founded in Ankara by the third President Celal Bayar with 10 people under the instructions of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, has upheld the Republic and the values of the Republic for 100 years.

Stating that it is a source of pride for everyone to celebrate the 100th anniversary of İş Bankası, one of Turkey's largest and one of the world's leading banks, Özel noted that they attended the reception together with former chairmen.

When asked why Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu could not attend the reception, Özel said, "Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu has a separate program today. That is why he could not attend this evening.

We came together with our former chairmen today. There is a charter change in the party. All our members are providing their opinions on this, but it was my duty to receive the views, warnings, and suggestions of our former chairmen.

We did this in Istanbul with our 3 esteemed former chairmen. When I return to Ankara, I will visit Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu and receive his views and suggestions.

We are extremely happy with the unity and solidarity in our party and the guidance of our esteemed former chairmen. I thank them very much for experiencing such an evening together."
