Kılıçdaroğlu's 'early convention' condition: He demanded the expulsion of 4 MPs from Özgür Özel!
A new behind-the-scenes claim has emerged regarding the debates following the 'absolute nullity' decision within the CHP. It is alleged that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu demanded the removal of certain MPs and party officials for an early convention process, and that Özgür Özel did not respond favorably to this request.
As the activity within the party continues following the "absolute nullity" decision regarding the CHP's 38th Ordinary Convention, a new claim has surfaced concerning the meeting held between Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and Özgür Özel.
According to behind-the-scenes information reported by Nefes columnist Mahir Bağış, it is alleged that Kılıçdaroğlu demanded that CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır, Deputy Chairman Burhanettin Bulut, Malatya MP Veli Ağbaba, and Ankara MP Umut Akdoğan be removed from the party or that they resign.
While it is claimed that this request was conveyed as a prerequisite for an early convention process, it is stated that Özgür Özel responded "no" to this demand.
The report also alleges that some MPs close to Kılıçdaroğlu expressed the view that the aforementioned names should be referred to the disciplinary process.
