"AUGUST 30 'The Determination of Hope is the First Resistance of the Last Fortress'

August 30 is the beginning of the glorious path that leads from resurrection to resistance, and from resistance to liberation in these lands!

August 30 is the rebirth from the ashes of a nation that was said to have perished!

August 30 is a spirit, August 30 is always hope!

Does hope ever get lost? Imagine a nation; waiting deep down against those who impose pessimism and hopelessness!

Imagine a nation; remaining silent against those who prepare its shroud!

On that day, the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk did not just win a war! On that day, Atatürk also buried the 'virus of pessimism' that permeated all oppressed nations from these lands into history!

In defiance of those who want to confine August 30 only to the history of the 20th century today;

August 30 is the spirit of the youth who keep hope alive, the worker who earns their living with the sweat of their brow, the child who smiles in spite of everything, the teacher who declares war on darkness, the engineer who builds the future, and the farmer who harvests under the yellow sun!

As long as there is hope in these lands, the spirit of August 30 will exist!

102 years ago, despite all impossibilities, there were two things that kept this nation together: 'hope and determination'; that very hope and determination paved the way to victory and founded the Republic.

Let those who plot on these lands and those ignorant people who build perceptions about this nation know that; the spirit of August 30 will never allow this!

No matter how powerful they become, no matter how aggressive they get, there will always be those who rise up from where they were broken and turn hope into a flag with determination!

Never give in to despair! The spirit of August 30 will always exist in the hearts of those who say that even if perceptions replace reality, the truth is with us!

This spirit, which is ingrained in the genes of this people, cannot be uprooted by money, weapons, or anything else! No matter what office or position they occupy with whatever false face, the day will come when they will vanish with the spirit of August 30!

Even if those who multiply by purifying themselves are silent, they are the people! Those who trust the people know that every day is August 30, every day is a victory!

When the day comes, that victory is crowned with the people, refreshed with hope, and rises again with determination.

On the 102nd anniversary of our glorious victory, I commemorate with respect, mercy, and gratitude, primarily Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, all his comrades-in-arms, our beloved martyrs, our great veterans, and the children of the homeland who are no longer with us today, who were always by their side saying 'from nothing to existence,' and I bow with respect before their sacred memories.

Do not forget that AUGUST 30 is 'The Determination of Hope, the First Resistance of the Last Fortress...'"
