Kızılırmak River surges in Sivas, water levels rise

In Sivas, where Siberian cold fronts were effective during the winter months, temperatures have risen with the arrival of spring. In the city, where temperatures dropped to as low as minus 20 degrees Celsius at night during the winter, the melting snow in the region has caused the water flow of the Kızılırmak, Turkey's longest river, to rise. The Kızılırmak, which had reached the point of drying up during the hot summer months, has surged once again with the melting snow.

Tülin Aslan stated that the water level has risen due to the melting snow, saying, "It snowed very beautifully this year. The water level has increased due to the melting snow. It turned out very well, and I hope we do not experience water shortages this year. This place looks very beautiful, and I go for a walk here every day. I feel happy when I see beautiful things. I hope we receive plenty of precipitation and have a very abundant year. While walking past, I saw very beautiful fish; it was as if they were migrating toward the river. I see otters and birds. Sometimes there are ducks here, and these things truly make one feel very good," she said.
