Konya Governor's Office announces latest status on collapsed building

The Konya Governor's Office reported that the 3 people rescued from the rubble of the 4-story building that collapsed yesterday evening are in good health.

In a post shared on the Governor's Office's official social media account, the following statements were made regarding the individuals rescued from the building that collapsed yesterday evening on Beyşehir Street in the Selçuk neighborhood of the central Selçuklu district, as well as the ongoing operations:

"Three of the 5 people trapped under the rubble have been rescued safely, transported to the hospital, and are in good health. Search and rescue efforts for the 2 people remaining under the rubble are ongoing."

SEARCH AND RESCUE EFFORTS FOR THE 2 PEOPLE UNDER THE RUBBLE CONTINUE

AFAD, 112 Emergency Health, UMKE, police, and gendarmerie teams, who were dispatched to the region upon reports of the building collapse, are continuing their search and rescue operations.

The teams, which have been operating in the area for approximately 12 hours, are working to reach the 2 people believed to be under the rubble.

Necessary technical equipment and search and rescue dogs are also being utilized in the operations.
