'Kuyu-28' operation in 58 provinces: 160 suspects in custody

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated in a post on his social media account that, as a result of the work carried out by the General Directorate of Security, Provincial Police Departments, and Anti-Financial Crimes Branches, operations were conducted in 58 provinces, including Istanbul, Izmir, and Manisa. He noted that the suspects were identified as having committed crimes including "loan sharking, aggravated fraud against public institutions and organizations, aggravated fraud against individuals, bid-rigging, forgery of official documents, and violation of the Tax Procedure Law."

Minister Yerlikaya congratulated the police forces who carried out the operations in which 160 suspects were taken into custody, noting that they would not allow any room for organized crime groups and gangs.
