In the first hearing of the case regarding the criminal organization led by Aziz İhsan Aktaş, it was noted that Aktaş entered the courtroom with a large security detail. In a statement before the hearing, Aktaş said, 'Justice is the foundation of the state, I have not fled, I am here.'
Following the comprehensive operation launched on January 13, the first hearing of the case in which Aziz İhsan Aktaş and the accompanying defendants are being tried is taking place today at the Silivri No. 1 Grand Courtroom, approximately one year later. The indictment within the scope of the investigation was completed in seven months.
Many individuals, including Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat, Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar, Avcılar Mayor Utku Caner Çaykara, Ceyhan Mayor Kadir Aydar, and Seyhan Mayor Oya Tekin, are being tried while in custody.

In addition, a total of 200 defendants, 40 of whom are in custody, including Adıyaman Mayor Abdurrahman Tutdere and Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer, appeared before the court today.
LARGE SECURITY DETAIL
Although Aziz İhsan Aktaş is accused of being a gang leader in the file, he is not in custody. Aktaş arrived in Silivri in his official vehicle, accompanied by a 15-person security team.

According to the report by Sözcü, while intense security measures were taken in the courtroom, Aktaş also took his place among his large security detail. Aktaş used the expression, 'Justice is the foundation of the state, I have not fled, I will repeat what I have said.'
