Lawyer for 'absolute nullity' case visits Kılıçdaroğlu at his home

Following the judicial process within the Republican People's Party (CHP), Onur Yusuf Üreğen, the lawyer for the 'absolute nullity' case filed on behalf of Lütfü Savaş—who was recently expelled from the party—visited Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu at his home this morning. Speaking to the press after the visit, Üreğen provided details on the process and shared his assessments regarding the party's future.

Stating that they met with Kılıçdaroğlu to discuss the process comprehensively, Üreğen said, “I came to visit our party's former chairman. I offered my best wishes. Yesterday, we handled the handover of our party through enforcement channels. We discussed the process and the roadmap for what will be done from here on out. We tried to convey everything that falls upon us to our chairman. That is all.”

Furthermore, lawyer Üreğen noted that he shared Kılıçdaroğlu's views on the recent developments at the party headquarters. He summarized Kılıçdaroğlu's sentiments with the words, “What happened at the Headquarters is not something anyone would be pleased with. He said he was saddened. But there is nothing more to be done now. We expressed that we will do whatever is necessary in peace and unity so that our party can reach better places.”
