Lebanon reacts to Israel for exploding pagers

In the statement issued, it was emphasized that this attack by Israel is a serious violation of Lebanon's sovereignty and a crime. Furthermore, the government announced that it has contacted the United Nations and relevant countries.
The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs also announced that they would take the matter to the United Nations Security Council. The statement from the ministry said, "Israel's cyberattack is condemned in the strongest terms, and this attack is considered a deliberate attempt to escalate tensions against Lebanon."
Hezbollah also stated in a written statement that it holds Israel fully responsible for the attack, expressing that this act will not go unpunished. With the phrase "Israel will pay the price for this sinful attack," a signal was given that retaliation against Israel could occur.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Simultaneous explosions occurred in pagers used by Hezbollah members in Lebanon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that as a result of the detonation of pagers used by Hezbollah members across the country, 9 people, including one child, lost their lives, and approximately 2,800 people were injured, about 200 of whom are in critical condition.
It has been observed that tensions have increased in recent days in the clashes that have been ongoing on the Israel-Lebanon border since October 8, 2023.
