HÜRRİYETÇİ EĞİTİM SEN Chairman Levent Kuruoğlu issued a written press statement reacting to the terrorist organization PKK's statement rejecting the Treaty of Lausanne.
Hürriyetçi Eğitim Sen Chairman Levent Kuruoğlu stated, "The borders of these lands were drawn with blood."
Kuruoğlu continued his statement with the following remarks;
Lausanne is the title deed of the Republic of Turkey.
The statements of the terrorist organization PKK that "reject Lausanne" and aim to "return to the period before 1924" are a direct attack on our Republic, the national will, and our sovereignty.
This rhetoric is a delusion of resurrecting Sèvres!
Let it not be forgotten:
The map of these lands was not drawn with a ruler, but with blood!
Whoever they may be, we will stand against anyone who turns a blind eye to this dirty scenario!
