Male body found on the coast of Arnavutköy, Beşiktaş
Citizens fishing with rods found a male body on the coast of Arnavutköy, Beşiktaş. The body, which was learned to belong to a foreign national, was taken from the Arnavutköy Pier to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue by Coast Guard teams.
The incident occurred around 21:00 on the coast of Arnavutköy, Beşiktaş. Citizens fishing with rods in the Bosphorus noticed a male body in the sea.
The fishermen who found the body immediately notified the police. Upon the report, the Coast Guard and police teams arrived at the scene, brought the person's lifeless body to the Arnavutköy Pier, and conducted an initial examination.

IT WAS UNDERSTOOD THAT THE LIFELESS BODY BELONGED TO AN IRANIAN CITIZEN
It was determined that the lifeless body found by the fishermen belonged to Iranian citizen Jaber Sabokah. Following the initial examination by the crime scene investigation teams, it was learned that many parts of Sabokah's body were deformed, and therefore it is believed that some time had passed since his death.
After the work of the crime scene investigation teams and with the prosecutor's approval, Sabokah's lifeless body was placed in a funeral vehicle and taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.

Ahmet Alioğlu, who witnessed the incident, described what he saw as follows: "They found a body in the sea about 2 hours ago, discovered by fishermen. They called the Coast Guard. They pulled the body out. It is currently on the pier, on the boat. They are waiting for the prosecutor. The face is unrecognizable.
The body has been torn apart by fish. It is quite old, so it is probably not from today, maybe between 3 to 5 months. The crime scene investigation is currently underway; the Coast Guard, police, and everyone are here. We are waiting too. It had already washed ashore; it most likely came from somewhere else. It was found by rod fishermen," he said.
