Man kills his common-law wife and two daughters with a firearm in Ümraniye
In Istanbul's Ümraniye district, a man shot and killed his common-law wife and two daughters before fleeing the scene.
Ümraniye Suat G., who resided in a residential complex on Yeşilvadi Street in the Fatih Sultan Mehmet neighborhood, fled after opening fire with a gun on his common-law wife, Yasemin Ü., and their daughters, Zeliha G. (31) and Mine G. (30).
Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Upon inspection of the home, the teams determined that the mother and her two daughters had lost their lives.
While crime scene investigation teams conducted an examination of the house, the police launched an operation to apprehend the fleeing suspect.
