Mehmet İnmez, one of the experienced names in the İzmir press, has resigned from Cumhuriyet newspaper. According to the report by Medyaradar, Mehmet İnmez shared the following message in a post within the İzmir press group:
"I have resigned from my position at the Cumhuriyet Newspaper İzmir Regional Directorate, where I began working upon invitation in 2019, due to managerial pressures.

Throughout my 26-year professional career, I have always performed my duties with journalistic ethics and honor.
