Many roads in Istanbul to be closed to traffic tomorrow due to the Presidential Cycling Tour

According to the statement made by the Istanbul Police Department, the roads to be closed and alternative routes have been determined due to the "58th Presidential Cycling Tour" program, which will be held by the Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate on Sunday, October 15.

In this context, in Fatih, Cankurtaran Square and İshakpaşa Street, Ahırkapı Street, Kabasakal Street, At Meydanı Street, Ahırkapı İskelesi Street, Küçük Ayasofya Street, and subsequently Torun, Utangaç, Dalbastı, and Aksakal streets, along with the streets and avenues connected to them, will be closed to traffic from 08:00 until the end of the program.

COASTAL ROAD BETWEEN ÜSKÜDAR AND KANDİLLİ WILL BE CLOSED

Traffic flow will not be possible on some roads in the Üsküdar and Kadıköy districts of the Anatolian Side between 09:00 and 16:00.

In Kadıköy, the side road of Dr. Eyüp Aksoy, Koşuyolu, and Dinlenç streets on the D-100 South Harem approach, the connection from the Onur Street-Köftüncü Street intersection to Dinlenç Street, the direction from under the Koşuyolu bridge to the Medipol Hospital Intersection Dinlenç Street, and the Üsküdar turn-offs from Orgeneral Şahap Gürler Street to Dr. Eyüp Aksoy Street and its connections will be closed to vehicle traffic.

In Üsküdar, the Harem Coastal Road, Paşa Limanı, Abdullağa, Kuzguncuk, Çengelköy, Kuleli, Vaniköy, Kandilli, Kandilli Göksu, and Beylerbeyi Çamlıca streets and the streets leading to them, the Güzeltepe Street to Prof. Dr. Beynun Akyavaş Street Intersection, the Hekimbaşı Çiftlik Street-Rasathane Street direction to the coastal road, the Yeni Yol Street Intersection coastal direction, the Kandilli Rasathane Street Hıdırellez Street Intersection, the D-100 north access from Altunizade Kısıklı, Mahiriz, and Tophanelioğlu streets, the Beylerbeyi direction from the D-100 south Beylerbeyi turn-offs, and the coastal side of Gümüşyolu Street will be closed to traffic.

In Kadıköy, the Istanbul Ring Road connection of Acıbadem, Üçpınarlar, Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Kerim Gökay, and Taş Köprü streets and the Koşuyolu Tepretoğulları exit, and in Üsküdar, the Selimiye turn-offs, Nuh Kuyusu, Dr. Fahri Atabey, Tunusbağ, Cumhuriyet, and Gazi streets can be used as alternative routes, while the Ataşehir connection road, Şile Highway, and the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge via the TEM Highway can also be used.

GALATA BRIDGE WILL ALSO BE CLOSED

Within the scope of the event, after 10:50 in Fatih, Küçük Langa Street and the streets and avenues connected to it, the Eurasia Tunnel Asia direction and the Aksaray turn-off and emergency exit road, the Coastal Kennedy Street (streets and avenues connected between Sirkeci Square and Samatya variant), Namık Kemal Street-Langa Bostanı Street and the streets and avenues connected to them, Gazi Mustafa Kemalpaşa Street and the streets and avenues connected to the coastal direction of the street, all streets and avenues in the direction of Atatürk Boulevard Coastal Kennedy Street, Kadir Has and Ragıp Gümüşpala streets and the streets and avenues connected to them, the Galata Bridge in both directions, Reşadiye and Ankara streets and the streets and avenues connected to them, and the entrance to Atatürk Boulevard from the Unkapanı Bridge will be closed to traffic until the end of the program. At the same hours, the Haşim İşcan Underpass will also be closed to pedestrian traffic.

As alternatives to these roads, Üçler Street-Klodfarer Street-Kadırga Limanı Street, as well as Vatan, Millet, Küçük Langa Aralığı, and Orgeneral Abdurrahman Nafiz Gürman streets, Onuncu Yıl Boulevard-Balat Road, Fevzipaşa Street-Horhor Street, Vatan Street-Atatürk Boulevard Street Unkapanı direction, Unkapanı Bridge Refik Saydan Street direction, and Nakilbent Street and connected streets can be used.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED IN BEYOĞLU AND BEŞİKTAŞ

In the Beyoğlu and Beşiktaş districts, between 12:00 and 14:00, the Karaköy direction of Tersane and Bankalar streets, the Barbaros Boulevard-Beşiktaş Street direction, the İnönü Street-Dolmabahçe Street direction, Prof. Dr. Bedri Karafakioğlu Street, the Dolmabahçe Tunnel Dolmabahçe Street exits will be closed to one-way traffic, and Beşiktaş Street-Dolmabahçe Street-Meclis-i Mebusan Street-Kemeraltı Street (between Beşiktaş Square and Galata Bridge) will be closed to two-way traffic.

Drivers can use Refik Saydam, Cumhuriyet, Halaskargazi, and Büyükdere streets and Tarlabaşı Boulevard as alternatives to these roads.

CAR FERRY SERVICES FROM ÜSKÜDAR AND HAREM TO EMİNÖNÜ WILL NOT BE OPERATIONAL

As of 12:30, traffic flow will not be permitted at the D-100 highway north road Altunizade Ümraniye turn-offs. Vehicles coming from the D-100 north road wishing to go in the direction of the 15 July Martyrs Bridge will be directed to Kısıklı Street from the Altunizade Ümraniye turn-offs.

Traffic flow will not be possible on the 15 July Martyrs Bridge in the Anatolia-Europe direction between 12:30-14:00, and in the Eurasia Tunnel in the Europe-Asia direction between 10:50-12:00.

In addition, the Sirkeci car ferry and sea services from the Üsküdar and Harem piers to the Eminönü pier will not be able to operate between 10:00 and 15:00.

Services on the Bağcılar-Kabataş Tram Line in the direction of Kabataş will be terminated at Beyazıt Square starting from 12:00. To prevent pedestrian traffic, the Sirkeci-Eminönü direction will be surrounded by barriers in both directions.

Metrobus services departing from Söğütlüçeşme will also be stopped as of 12:15. On the other hand, in an announcement made from IETT's social media account, it was reported that services between Söğütlüçeşme and Zincirlikuyu would be carried out via the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge between 12:15 and 14:30.
